It's a Wonderful Life is the heart-warming saga of George Bailey, the Everyman from the small town of Bedford Falls, whose dreams of escape and adventure have been repeatedly quashed by notions of family obligation and civic duty. This sparkling and magical play has all of your favorite characters: George and Mary, Mother Bailey, Uncle Billy, Violet and of course, the Scrooge-like villain Mr. Potter. It's a Wonderful Life not only celebrates the season, it also celebrates the American philosophy of life: that hard work, fair play, and the love and support of family and community will be rewarded.
In this two-man musical spoof, a pair of aspiring playwrights perform a backers audition for their new project - a big, splashy musical about printing press inventor Johann Gutenberg. With an unending supply of enthusiasm, Bud and Doug (played by Brennan Saur and Mikey Martin) sing all the songs and play all the parts in their crass historical epic, with the hope that one of the producers in attendance will give them a Broadway contract - fulfilling their ill-advised dreams.
Registration for Fall Live-Learning Shows will begin in August Registration for Spring Live-Learning Shows will begin in November
See below for Details!
Spotlight Live-Learning Musicals are educational experiences for all skill levels. Students register for the production then are taught audition material, tips and tricks. Auditions take place the first few classes for placement within the cast (all who register will be in the show). The following weeks are spent learning the show material as well as acting, singing and dance skills that will be useful in the production and beyond. A full performance open to the public is produced at the end of the program.

Spotlight Studios announces two exciting October Break events!
An entire evening of original one act plays written, rehearsed, and performed in 24 hours by 8-12th graders!
An entire evening of original one act plays rehearsed and performed in 12 hours by 4-8th graders!
These are theatre events unlike any other. They are tiring, they are stressful, but they are always fun!
In "24", artists in 8-12th grade gather together one evening. By the same time the next evening, several teen authors will have written brand new original plays. Several teen directors will take these plays and cast from a pool of teen performers. Then they rehearse, rehearse, rehearse until show time!
In "12", performers in 4-8th grade gather in the morning. By the evening, they will be performing original one act plays never before seen anywhere!
